Who we are

Talkkeeping ("the connector") is operated by Oxygen Bubbles Limited, Brookfield Court, Selby Road, Garforth, Leeds, LS25 1NB, company number 17047416 ("we"). Contact us about privacy at [CONTACT EMAIL].

The connector is not made or endorsed by FreeAgent. When you use it, FreeAgent's own privacy policy governs your FreeAgent account, and Anthropic's governs your use of Claude.

What the connector does with your data

When you ask Claude to do something in FreeAgent, Claude sends the request to the connector, the connector makes the matching call to FreeAgent's API as you, and it returns FreeAgent's answer to Claude. Depending on what you ask, that can include bank transactions, expenses, invoices, bills, contacts (which may hold your customers' and suppliers' names, email addresses and postal addresses), projects, timeslips, reports, and receipt files.

That data exists on our server only in memory, for the length of the one request. We don't write it to disk or a database, and we don't use it for anything other than answering the request.

Your sign-in

When you connect, FreeAgent asks you to approve access and issues access credentials (tokens). The connector encrypts those tokens and hands them to Claude, which keeps them as part of your connection and sends them back with each request. We keep no copy of your tokens. Only our server holds the key that can decrypt them.

You can end access at any time by removing the connector in Claude, or by revoking the app in your FreeAgent account.

Billing

To run the free trial and subscription, we keep one record per person: the email address and name from your FreeAgent login, the FreeAgent companies you've connected (their ids and names), when your trial started and ends, and, once you subscribe, the Stripe customer and subscription references with the subscription's status, renewal date and any failed-payment date. We hold no card details: Stripe collects and holds those as the payment processor, under its own privacy policy.

Where we give a whole company free access, we also keep that company's FreeAgent id and name. We keep a person's record while they use the connector and for [BILLING RETENTION PERIOD] afterwards, for our own accounting and tax records.

To stop a stolen sign-in being reused, we also keep a random identifier for each connection and a one-way fingerprint of each sign-in code once used. They contain nothing about you or your accounts. They expire within minutes for sign-in codes, and a year after a connection was last used for the rest, and are deleted within a few days of expiring.

Receipts from links

If you ask Claude to attach a receipt from a link, the connector downloads that file and uploads it to FreeAgent for you. The file isn't stored by us.

Logs

We don't record the content of your requests, FreeAgent's responses, or your tokens. Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, keeps standard operational records of running the service, such as request times, paths, status codes and IP addresses, for [RETENTION PERIOD].

Where it runs, and who else is involved

• Microsoft Azure hosts the connector, in its UK South region (London).
• FreeAgent holds your accounting data. The connector reads and writes it on your instruction.
• Anthropic provides Claude, which sends the requests and holds your connection.
• Stripe processes subscription payments.

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else. The public pages set no cookies and use no analytics. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie on the administration page, used by Oxygen Bubbles staff; it is strictly necessary for that page and expires after eight hours.

How long we keep data

We don't keep your FreeAgent data or tokens beyond the request that uses them. Your connection lasts until you remove it in Claude or revoke it in FreeAgent. Billing records are kept as described under Billing.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. We don't store your accounting data, which lives in your FreeAgent account. What we do hold is your billing record described under Billing, including your email address and name; we can give you a copy, correct it, or delete it, except where we must keep it for accounting and tax records. The connector is for businesses and isn't intended for anyone under 18.
